The Green Student Society (GSS) is a cross-disciplinary, student-driven organisation for students interested in climate change, biodiversity and sustainability in a wide sense.
GSS is for students who are curious about how institutions, businesses, and society handle sustainability challenges such as environmental impact, CO2 emissions, socioeconomic inequality, responsible resource consumption, regenerative agriculture, bioethics, and much more.
As a member of GSS, you get the opportunity to:
- Explore complex sustainability issues together with students from different backgrounds.
- Plan and hold sustainability events in and around Studenterhuset.
- Talk with academics and actors from relevant fields
We meet four times over the course of a semester, taking turns leading the meetings and inviting in guest speakers. In addition, members are encouraged to develop various side projects.
Find the events on our Facebook-page: KU Green Student Society – GSS and follow us on instagram @greenstudentsociety.
